Half modules are allowed on special conditions if requested.
Make up lessons are allowed within the term only, but cannot be carried over to the next term.
Please read more FAQs here:
Do I need experience?
No. I love teaching beginners. As long as you are eager to learn and are willing to give me your time, I promise that you WILL learn to create and enjoy art.
Do I need to commit to the whole year?
No. But you DO need to commit to the module.
Can I make up lessons that I miss?
You can make up a lesson on another day, but missed lessons must be made up in the current module and cannot be carried over to the next module.
Do I need to buy my own materials?
I will suggest starting off with basic drawing supplies and a sketchbook. My studio is very well stocked, so if you need something in particular you can use my materials, but is handy to eventually buy your own , as then you can work and practice at home.
Where are the studio classes held?
My studio is on Natte Valleij Farm, outside of Stellenbosch on the R44, near Klapmuts. My studio is in converted Stables overlooking a poplar forest.
How many students do you allow per class?
12 is the maximum I allow.
How do I participate in your annual exhibition?
As a student you’re automatically included in the Annual Stables Art Exhibition at Natte Valleij.
Do you have a student discount?
Scholars are entitled to a 10% discount.
Cost per lesson is R400 and Modules are either 6,7 or 8 lessons in duration, once a week.
